Community intern

Want to develop skills in communication, organisation and client contact? And contribute to a more inclusive, more social world at the same time? Join our team as a community intern! You will become the go-to person for (lonely) seniors.

Hybrid: working comfortably from home, and 1 day a week at our cosy office in Amsterdam-Noord.

What will you do?

As a community intern, you're the first point of contact for our seniors. You call, check in and build relationships. Plus: you'll become a buddy yourself to a senior in your area.

Call seniors: have great conversations and gather important info to build a strong profile
Create client profiles for the perfect match with volunteers
Hold check-ins during the matching period (after 1, 3 and 5 months)
Administration & planning: keep everything running smoothly
Become a buddy: build a lovely bond with a senior near you
