Noortje takes Marja out for a smashing night out

"When you meet someone young who also loves opera, you know right away it's a good match" — Marja.

Marja (78) and Noortje (22) discovered they were coincidentally wearing the same colours — a sign that they clicked.

Their shared love of opera created an instant bond. Marja: "At home here, it's all about music — my husband was a trumpet player."

Noortje works at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet. Together they enjoy culture and a night out.
