Christine (22) & Corrie (85): I'm grateful I can do this for Corrie

Corrie (85) is visually impaired and, because of this, no longer dared to go outside on her own. Every week, Christine (22) goes for walks with her and helps with groceries.

"Before this, Corrie hadn't been to a supermarket in about six months. Now we go every single time!" — Christine.

Along the way, they often talk about the news. Corrie is very well informed about everything happening in the world. Their little ritual: picking up something tasty at the supermarket and enjoying it together at home.

When Christine leaves, Corrie stands by the window to wave her off. "She won't let me look back to wave, though — she's afraid I'll fall off my bike."
